Western Australia Health Act 1911 (Food Hygiene) regulations 1993 states: “All filters, hoods and ducts must receive regular cleaning and maintenance and must kept in a clean condition at all times”.

All insurance underwriters requires: “ a third party to carry out the cleaning of the Canopy. Flue and Fan on a minimum six monthly frequency and all filters clean and kept clean regularly”.
